7 Cleanse(A) me with hyssop,(B) and I will be clean;
wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.(C)
8 Let me hear joy and gladness;(D)
let the bones(E) you have crushed rejoice.
9 Hide your face from my sins(F)
and blot out(G) all my iniquity.
10 Create in me a pure heart,(H) O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me.(I)
11 Do not cast me(J) from your presence(K)
or take your Holy Spirit(L) from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation(M)
and grant me a willing spirit,(N) to sustain me.(O)
13 Then I will teach transgressors your ways,(P)

14 Deliver me(S) from the guilt of bloodshed,(T) O God,

you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings.
